Villa Delfines - Adults Only

  based on 43 reviews

Watch the sunrise while having breakfast in the bedroom’s terrace, observe the moon and it’s reflection over the sea with a glass of wine and doze with the breeze and sounds of the ocean. It’s large garden with fruit trees is ideal for barbecues.

Former family house, renovated into two paired duplex, though it maintains an unmistakable traditional ambience with thick stone walls. This two cosy villas are in the oceanfront of a cliff in the village of Lepe, a small farmers' settlement surrounded by the ocean and before an impressive rock wall by Agulo.

It is 800 meters away from Santa Catalina beach and Hermigua Old Davit with it's natural swimming-pool. From their top terraces in front of the bedrooms they have excellent ocean views with Tenerife and Teide volcano as an incomparable background for breathtaking sunrises.

In the main floor of this canarian style house are the kitchens and living-rooms of each villa, and in the top floor the bedrooms with wooden floor and roofs, bathroom and the large terraces.

Best view over Tenerife

This property has superb views over a banana plantation, to the ocean and has the best possible view to Tenerife island. It is in a very quiet village and the only noise you can hear can come from your neighbors (staying at the apartment next door) - we stayed at this villa twice and every time we had very decent and quiet neighbors - in general the profile of the visitors is mature couples looking for a place to relax and disconnect. During our previous stay the internet signal was weak but this has been drastically improved and the internet now works very well.

Next to the sea

Very pleasant typically Canarian house, which is divided into 2 parts, a and b, both having two floors, so basically is split down the middle, with a common entrance hall. Shared use of the garden, though when we visited the BBQ did not look operational, and I wouldn't have chosen to sit in the garden. Nice balcony off the bedroom area with sun loungers, table and chairs and a telescope - though it was misty so we didn't try to use it. Nice added extra though. The tv is upstairs in the bedroom area, not in the lounge, which we didn't use at all, as we spent most of the time on the balcony looking across towards Tenerife. We were surprised to find an extra shower room/loo on the ground floor which hadn't been provided in the property description, so that was a nice added bonus too. Very pleasant stay, though I wouldn't really like to try to do too much cooking in the kitchen. i only attempted breakfast, as there is no where nearby to get this, but that is exactly what I expected from this more remote location. Whilst there was a microwave provided, plus a hob, there was not one bowl we could have used in the microwave, as only metal ones provided. The addition of a glass or plastic one would be good. I had to use the fruit bowl from the dining table to make scrambled eggs. :) Good food in the nearest restaurant above the beach - bit of a hike back up the hill, but worth it. Good area for walking, but a car essential to get there - A bit of a pain on arrival: You pick up the key from the hotel a couple of miles away then set off again to find the property, so I imagine it would be very impractical without a car. If you don't want to use your car after arrival then Stock up on your groceries in the supermarket near the ferry in San Sebastian before arrival at the property. Spar shop within about two miles, but would be a hike on foot. The property is in a small terrace in a little hamlet on the Cliffside, with a mixture of holiday homes and some local people and a small path leads past the other houses to villa Delfines. shame about the dog poo we had to dodge each time we used the path - which is not the fault of this properties owners, but be aware in the dark.

Fabulous peaceful rural location on La Gomera if you like walking.

Fabulous views from the private terrace, waking up to sunrise , use of pretty garden leading from apartment. peaceful, spacious accommodation. Good hot shower with plenty of towels. Lovely walking but mostly very steep ups and downs with beautiful views all round the island. Wi fi and reception on tv very poor, not able to listen to radio etc. Sea too rough to swim in. We did go looking for the 'sea water pool' but found it closed off and think it would have been to cold. ( both of these out of owners control ). Very narrow road leading up to property.

Atlantic view, silence and privacy

A location, location and once more location!!! It's located on the edge of a small village named Lepe, facing an Atlantic ocean, hided by maracuya trees and banana plantation. If you are a quite place seeker that's your place. Near by (~1km) you can find a small restaurant and a bar. A nice natural swimming pool is available just in 5 min. drive (or ~20 min walk) from your house. A villa is full equipped with all facilities you could need. Many thanks to Ana from office in "Los Telares"!!!

A direkt zugänglich.
